The painting is about children enjoying their winter. It looks like they went out to play

as they have their toys with them. It also looks like they are going home to eat and

rest after a great time playing outside with their toys and the snow. This painting

shows the good old times of every adult in their childhood. This painting symbolizes

reminiscence and longing for something warm memory from the past.

The lines in the painting are not that straight and it looks like it is made free-handed

without using any straightening tools. There are thin lines that are almost fading. This

help depicts the depths and emphasis of the parts of the painting. Thick lines, on the

other hand, are very vivid and help also the deepness and emphasis of parts of the

painting. It also helps with the shadows.

A variety of color shades is seen in the painting. There are dark colors, warm colors,

and light colors. Dark colors help with the shadow of the parts of the painting. It helps

with showing how thick an object is. Light colors help with the highlights of the parts

of the painting. Just how important the shadow is, highlights make the object 3d and

realistic. Light colors here help every part of the painting especially the small objects

and parts.

From what I have seen of the painting, the painting has a texture resulting from how it

is painted. I can see here that the layering method is used here which helps the results

of this texture.
