ASSIGNMENT #1

1.In what ways do the learning theories differ?

- Behaviorism is concerned with the acquisition of new behaviors or changes in behaviors through connections
between stimuli and responses. In cognitivism, learning happens through internal information processing.
Lastly, constructivism holds that we build our own understanding of the universe based on our personal
experiences.
2.In what ways are they similar?
- Behaviorism, constructivism, and cognitivism each have distinct traits, but there is also a great deal of
overlap and common qualities among them. Behaviorism focuses on observable behaviors and the stimuli that
accompany them, whereas constructivism considers the learner's zone of proximal growth. Cognitivism
investigates the internal mental processes of learners, such as attention and memory.
3.How can the learning theories be used in combination to change behavior and enhance learning?
- Learning theories are used in conjunction with one another to modify behavior and improve
learning. Learning theories are utilized in the design and interpretation of an area or feature of cognition. This
is the group of similar prepositions.
4.Why are some theories more effective with certain individuals than with others?
- Theories provide a foundation for future study. Theories are used by researchers to generate hypotheses
that can be tested, whereas others cannot.
