I. Problem: How does stirring affects how fast powdered juice dissolves?
II. Hypothesis: _____________________________________________________________________________________
III. Materials Needed:
 6 tablespoon powdered juice
 6 pcs plastic cups
 1 liter lukewarm water
 6 pcs spoon
 Rugs
IV. Procedure:
1. Put one (1) tablespoon of powdered juice in each of the two different transparent cups, labeled cup A and
B respectively.
2. Add 1 cup of water in each of the cups. Observe closely.
3. Stir the mixture in cup A 10 times using a spoon. Do not stir the mixture in cup B.
4. Observe what happens in each cup.
Q1: What difference do you observe between cup A and cup B?

 6 pcs spoon
 6 tablespoon salt
 1 liter lukewarm water
 Rugs
 Mortar and pestle
IV. Procedure:
1. Crush three tablespoon of salt using a mortar and pestle.
2. Put 1 tablespoon of crushed salt in a clear plastic cup and labeled the cup as cup A.
3. Put 1 tablespoon of uncrushed salt in a clear plastic cup and labeled the cup as cup B.
4. Add 1 cup of water in each of the cups. Observe closely.
Q1: What difference do you observe between cup A and cup B?
___________________________________________________________________________________________
___________________________________________________________________________________________
5. Stir the mixture ten times (10x) in cup A and in cup B simultaneously using a spoon.
6. Start the timer after stirring cup A and cup B.
7. Observe what happens in each cups.
Q2: What difference do you observe between cup A and cup B?
___________________________________________________________________________________________
___________________________________________________________________________________________
8. Stir the mixture ten times (10x) in cup A and in cup B simultaneously using a spoon after every 5 minutes.
1. Stop the timer when the salt totally dissolves in each of the cups. Record your time on table 1.
9. Repeat procedure 1-9 two times and fill up table 1 below with the data you gathered.

III. Materials Needed:
 1 liter hot water
 1 liter cold water
 Instant coffee powder
 6pcs clear cups
 6 pcs spoons
 Rugs
 Thermometer
IV. Procedure:
1. Place 1 cup of cold water in a cup and labeled the cup as cup A. Get the temperature of the water in cup A.
2. Place 1 cup of hot water in a cup and labeled the cup as cup B. Get the temperature of the water in cup B.
3. At the same time, add 1 tablespoon of coffee to each cup.
4. Start the timer as you add the coffee in each cup.
5. Observe what happens in each cups.
