Today we have submitted a letter to GM HRD seeking the role clarity

for BSSE. The letter is enclosed herewith for your information. We advise our
members not to entertain the BSSE employees for locker operations, FIT, cash
operations and FCR transaction until further clarification from our HRD.

Ref:- Role clarity for BSSE Employees

In our bank, several candidates are recruited as BSSEs and they are
posted to branches and administrative offices without any role clarity. We are
receiving inquiries from many Branches about allocating duties to them. Many
branches are reaching out to KVBOA on regular basis, whether BSSEs can be
allowed for Locker operations, FIT, cash operations, FCR transactions, etc.
Even BSSEs are also not clear about their roles and responsibilities. HRD has
issued a circular vide No.341/2022 dated 11.10.2022 issued in this regard and
the same withdrawn. We came to know that the data center is creating FCR
user IDs for all FCR operations for BSSEs, even after the withdrawal of the
HRD circular, which is violation of HRD instructions.

In this regard, we request you to kindly clarify the roles of BSSEs, as

the name indicates that BSSE (Branch Sales and Service Executive) are meant
for sales, but they have been allocating other works in the name of training,
which will jeopardize the interest of the bank.

We request your good office to kindly address the ambiguities

surrounding the roles & responsibilities of the BSSE cadre employees
immediately and also clarify what is the code of conduct applicable to them in
our Bank.
