DRR focus on particular known hazards , whereas resilience

ability of a system , group or civilization to resist , absorb ,
accommodate and recover from the consequence of a danger
in a timely and efficient manner , including through the
preservation and restoration of its key basic srtuctures and
functions is referred to as resilience.

Republic Act 10121 is a revised law that the government

implemented in response to thepossibility of catastrophes to
increase community readiness, awareness, and capability for
reducingdisaster risks through administrative oversight. I
consider it essential that this law be approved as acitizen of
this country to reduce the number of fatalities in the case of a
crisis. There is little possibility oflosing belongings or family
members, and more damages are being prevented

Spreading awareness in relation to the topic is impactful to

the humanity. It is inevitable to escape from these hazards and
potential disasters and we must do our part effectively.
Knowledge is the best weapon to defeat uncertainty. Learning
and earning knowledge in connection with disaster and risk
reduction management is crucial in life.
