IV. Brainstorming the topics of investigation

VII. Writing a brief justification

Write a “rationale” expressing the main reason to undertake the study, (not
because it is required as an assignment). Explain why the study would be
important for you and other people.

The purpose of this study is to analyze or identify the several reasons


why students from english career of UPNFM-CURSPS drop out their
studies after the pandemic of covid-19, having in mind the hard times
our country passed through this sickness even worst our country is
positioned in one the lowest rate of education levels. in order to that
finding valuable reasons and distinguishing why several students
decided to quit or drop out from university, besides from that it's a good
opportunity to investigate about what other problems could be affecting
to the population of students for having a better view of this issues, the
community of students is specifically delimited to only the english
career and counting from the two past years since 2020.
As humans we need to develop a lot of skills through life, some of them
must be mandatory such as the studies of a career. That's why we want
to focus on this research. Also it could be helpful to discover what other
possibilities could exist to these previous students who they already
dropped out of their studies, what other solutions could they afford in
order to fix their problem or their main reason for why they decided to
quit their professional careers.

Search information about the topic you selected to investigate in books, articles,
conferences, videos, etc., and investigations that have been done about it. Copy and

Synopsis - The dropout of university students
It is a global phenomenon, but nevertheless, at the Universidad Pedagógica
Nacional Francisco Morazan, it is a phenomenon that before the pandemic occurred
due to different factors, after the pandemic, it has been chaos. In first world
countries, giant world powers, have been affected because of this situation, students
have withdrawn because of what the pandemic has caused. COVID19 has taken
away many students because of the attendance they had during the classes they
received. But, when they returned vaccinated, this was not a positive impact, since in
the English course, the pandemic caused a panic that involved a lot of students to
withdraw, they did not resist, they did not advance and had to leave. That is why it
has caught our attention to see a large number of English students withdrawing from
the university.
