Playing The Triocha

Complex, powerful, fluid, and questioning. The

Triocha is three people in one body, sharing their
knowledge and abilities with each other. Or maybe
they're just three personas, or three aliases. Maybe
only one of them knows the truth.

Unlike most Skins, the Triocha does not have stat

options. Instead, their different aspects specialize
in certain stats, and they can move between those
aspects. With powerful bonuses to Dark, Volatile,
and Hot, they are a force to be reckoned with - if
they're in the right aspect at the right time. They
are not Cold, because the Triocha struggles to
detach themselves from any situation.

The Triocha is based on the idea of the tripartite

deity that shows up in many cultures, from the
Irish Morrigan, the Greek Fates and Furies, the
Norse Norns, even the Catholic Trinity. Instead of
borrowing powers directly from any of these, the
Triocha is defined by the ability to shift between
personas, capable of being the right person for
almost any situation, if they can assume the right
aspect.

You may invoke more specific aesthetics to

resemble your deity or mythical figure of choice,
but no knowledge is necessary to play. Likewise, many
of these figures are female, but you do not have to be.

Conditions
Triocha Moves
You start with One of Three, and
choose one additional move.
 One of Three
Each midnight, you choose which
one of your three aspects you will
inhabit for the next day. These
aspects all look distinctly different.
Each aspect specializes in one trait
—Dark, Hot, or Volatile—and
receives a +3 to that stat. They
have -1 to all other stats. There is
no Cold aspect. In order to change
your aspect, you must complete a
ritual. Roll a flat roll. On a success,
you change without consequence.
On a fail, you cannot change. On a
mixed success, pick one:
• It hurts. Take 1 Harm, and
describe how the mark of it
lingers.
• Someone sees you change.
The MC chooses another
character to receive a
String on you.
• It disorients you. You forget
the last ten minutes, and
lose forward holds you
have.
• You enter your Darkest Self.
Whatever the result, describe the
ritual and how you ensure that it
is powerful, personal, and magical.

If someone tells you a secret, they
mark one experience. If you
reference or use the secret while in
any other aspect than the one they
told, they gain 2 Strings on you.

When you attempt to convince
someone that your other aspect
is a different person than your
current aspect, they may mark
an experience if they believe you.
 Past, Present, Future
When you Gaze Into the Abyss,
proceed as normal; but no matter
what the result is, you may ask
the MC one of the following
questions, which they must
answer honestly (if not clearly):
• Who nearby means me harm?
• Where should I be looking next?
• What do I need to be wary of?
• Which aspect will serve me best
tomorrow?
 Speak My Name
Each of your aspects may give one
token to another character. If this
character activates the token, it
gives you an ability depending on
which aspect it is tied to. You will
appear in the aspect used to
summon you. You do not have the
option of refusing the connection, so
give your tokens wisely.
• Hot: You can speak psychically
with the holder of your token,
no matter the distance
• Dark: You can see and hear what
they see and hear, no matter the
distance
• Volatile: You will appear in their
location, no matter the distance
