1. To promote the culture of research and to ensure data-driven progress, this

Office, through the Planning and Research Unit, encourages the field to submit
Action and Basic Research proposals for the Basic Education research Fund
screening.

2. For Action and Basic Research proposals template please refer to DO No.
L6, s.2Ol7. Failure to follow the prescribed template would mean disqualification
or disapproval of the research proposal.

3. Researchers shall submit to the Planning and Research Unit the hard copy
of the Action and Basic Research Proposals on or before March 10, 2022. The final
list of BERF recipient shall be announced through a Division Memorandum.

4. lmmediate dissemination of this memorandum is desired.
