What is Public Management Reform in the Philippines?

The term "public management reform" which is refers to the government who initiate
efforts to guide and alter of the operations for organizations in the public sector.

Public management reform in the Philippines is my major subject of Public


Administration course. As a student of this lesson it caught of my attention that I never
thought I’ve found that it is a Public non-state service organization who should carry out
the social, cultural, and other activities that concern fundamental human rights that the
state of organization primarily finances. Public management reform also addresses the
democratic nature of the choices made by elected officials. Given the complexity of the
issues that the government is currently facing and the urgency with which some
decisions must be made, public management reform in the Philippines emphasizes
more autonomy for government officials in their decision-making. In exchange, it
demands greater transparency and accountability in the decision-making process. The
goal of public management reform, in addition to improving state organization efficiency,
is to strengthen state capacity. public management reform is crucial it is because a
good public administration aims to maximize effectiveness and efficiency while
enhancing customer service. A government must have effective public management
and administration if it is to provide services to the general population. Planning and
establishing the policies that support these public services are also included the public
management reform. I learned a lot of this major course because it teaches me to have
more abilities to be prepared as public servant on future more on this topic base on my
report titled leadership in public service it takes more knowledge, skills and abilities. I
learned that a leader in the public sector is someone who motivates others to work
toward shared goals by serving as an example of positive change. Added to this having
a good communication is one of the most effective methods as a leader. In order to
build trust and coordinate efforts in the pursuit of goals, effective communication is
essential the role of leadership in the public sphere it may include the functions of
responsibility, adherence to laws and norms, allegiance to political parties, and network
governance. As a student of these course subject knowing and learning about
government issues and studying about management is not easy but very helpful
because there are a lot of opportunities when you have skills and knowledge about the
public administration. As I learned about this major it teaches as how implement how to
become a good servant in a future. In added to we gain knowledge on how government
work in organization.
