What is Sexuality??
SEXUALITY
Sexuality is a term used to describe the way that people
express themselves as a sexual being. Sexuality involves
many aspects of being human. Some may find a visual
or picture of these ideas that is suitable for children and
youth helpful to understand and explain how it all fits
together.

Bisexuality is a romantic or sexual attraction or behavior toward both males and females, or to
more than one gender. It may also be defined to include romantic or sexual attraction to people
regardless of their sex or gender identity, which is also known as pansexuality.
SEXUAL ORIENTATION
ASEXUALITY
People who identify as asexual experience little or no sexual attraction to others.
Asexual people, or “aces,” often identify somewhere on a spectrum that includes
their emotional, spiritual and romantic attraction to other people.
PANSEXUALITY
Sexually or romantically attracted to people regardless of their sex or gender.
