Nowadays, there have been several talent shows on TV, scattered from this

channel to other ones. Many shows are a good way to find gifted people, but other
shows lose their essence, becoming a spot of entertainment.
Given the first opinion, televised talent shows help find talented people because
they are the ‘playground’ for people, so people can be the best versions of
themselves, showing their inner power and burning passion. Those shows also
contribute to finding excellent candidates with the right quality and ability to
devote to a country’s flourishment. Typically, “Super Brain” of Vietnam, which
aims to find people with good memory and a deep understanding of various fields,
has aroused much attention from audiences. It attracted not only domestic attention
but also abroad, when Tsujikubo Rinne of Japan participated in the live contest on
air.
In contrast to “Super Brain”, there are some other shows which are just for
entertainment, even annoying. “Thach thuc danh hai” is originally a talent show,
finding people with comedy aptitude to conquer all judges and get their desired
amount of money. However, there are some ridiculous performances like touching
sensitive parts of the body to arouse the audience, and consequently, it failed and
received bad comments from people. In another show “Vietnam Nextop Model”,
candidates show the professional catwalk to persuade 4 judges, but when they
cannot enter the next round, some candidates make a fuss and argue loudly, which
destroys the show’s quality. Those shows are indeed time-consuming and lose their
politeness, in some cases are unfair to all participants, so they gradually get
saturated.
In short, beside some talent shows which go with their right nature, there still exist
low-quality ones mainly for entertainment. Organizers need to research more to
ensure true talent shows for potential people.
