What did you like most about the meeting?

The relevance to what I do

I thought it was great to see everyone live for once, not only in Zoom. That is, what I liked most
for this time.

meeting other advocates. Hearing good practices, collaborating

Great speakers + Agenda on time + Enough time for discussions

To meet face to face with everyone

finally seeing everyone again in real life, being able to exchange ideas, the selection of the
lectures

good program and right space time for discussion

I found a lot of information and i liked the interaction and networking.

The exchange with other patient representatives, the high quality lecturers

I was very pleased to see that we were many European associations represented and with a
large quorum to adopt the agreements.

What did you like least about the meeting?

Not enough time

I found the days too packed, especially Saturday, there were too few breaks to rest and interact
with others.

the formal part. You want to act, to do something

My travel... I only could attend the saturday meeting. Not very good connections with Berlin
downtown.

The workload

Amanda Plate's presentation was very difficult to follow because she was unfortunately ill and
after the other program it took a lot of concentration, which was no longer there

Everything was fine

That I couldn't stay for the second session on Sunday

The sitting. It was the first time we where school sitting. Better to sit all around in order to be
able to see the persons face to face and not their back... The room was large enough to allow
that kind of sitting. Better to interfare when you see the persons.

packed agenda. a bit more room for networking would have been great.

How can we improve overall AGM/GA?

doing a good job

More and longer breaks, maybe 2 hour lunch breaks. Sunday longer? Friday start earlier? Limit
presentations to 20 minutes maximum. Especially during the last lecture on Saturday, my
concentration was gone, which was a shame because I thought the speaker and the topic were
so great. But I think it would be better to limit it to 20 minutes and then have a Q&A session.

I know that the majority of members prefer a location in a city center, but I think that it´s much
better near the airport. We spend very few time there and it takes much time to go to the hotel
from the airport. If we are going to the city center, it´d be great to have a longer meeting.

Plan it for more days or have less items on the agenda

For me it was okay and you don't really have to improve anything. Too bad not everyone was
there

inviting a representative of scientific community at least in one session

I really think that the structure of the LUCE Assembly was very well organized. Perhaps the
technical part of the session was a bit poor and Alfonso had to take care of everything.
The language is also a handy cap

Funding an organization

Gladly more in terms of communication (for different channels and thus target groups,
website, Facbook, blog, Insta, LinkedIn) and building an organization (division of labor; what to
outsource and professionalize);

well, less topics, but more in depth. More like a workshop where we can practice

Update about research in lung cancer

Changes, waiting times, new therapies in the different countries of the members; Presenting
LuCe's various campaigns and projects so that you can find more interested parties to get
involved; new clinical trials; psycho-oncological support

Possible partnerships for EU funded projects

RWD

Ideas about projects what can be developed in each country, ideas about common projects
which could have bigger impact in each country

Policy and decision making by EU authorities

How to carry out projects in common with other associations of the alliance

Research Advocacy

Communication techniques and tips on sustaining my organization

All information concerning communication is very important. And internal topics, such as team
building, how organizations are managed ...

knowing what is going on on an European scale. the projects mentioned

I learnt some experiences from other countries and the lectures by Ananda and the journalist
were really useful.

To find out something new or planned from the various members in order to then work out and
achieve something together, to provide mutual assistance

Good practice exchange

Personally I appreciated the HTA session, because the topic was covered in a complete but
simple way and generally I appreciate the possibility of interacting with other members to learn
more about their local programs and their way of dealing with and managing the critical issues
of the association.

I came back with good information and also with a lot of knowledge regarding other NGO-s
activities

Educational, networking

I'm confident that we can make progress with the HTA topic in my org. now.

Presentations easier to follow and more engaging when delivered in person as opposed to
zoom
