1. Giving Direction
Verbs (kata kerja)
 Turn left = belok ke kiri  Between = diantara
 Turn right = belok ke kanan  Crossroad = perempatan
 Go straight a head = jalan lurus  Highway = jalan raya
 Go past = lewati  Junction = persimpangan jalan
 Opposite = sebrang  T-junction = pertigaan
 Cross = menyebrang  Traffic light = lampu lalu lintas

2. Some Expressions for Asking direction:

 Excuse me, could you tell me how to get to the station?
 Could you show me how to go to the cinema?
 Will you show me the way to museum, please?
 Excuse me, do you know where the nearest post office is?
 Excuse me, can you show me the way to the station, please?
3. Some Expressions for Giving direction
 Take this road
 Turn right at the T-Junction and it is across the alfamart and beside the timezone
 First, go ahead this street about three kilometers. Then go left at the T- Junction. It is

 Go straight on till you see the hospital then turn left.
 Turn left when you see a roundabout.
