Conclusion

For the development of this project we had to understand the working of the current system which is
the manual system. To understand how the current system works we had to use different methods and
one of those methods was to ask a person who is directly involved in the placement process, and we
used the information we got as an input for our project. In this process we understood that the current
system has problems like, unnecessary usage of resource, poor error correction method, and it takes a
really long time, as an example the whole process takes approximately three weeks for just 240
students.

In the proposed system the above stated problems and other problems are eliminated, our system
makes the placement process easy and fast. The time it takes to complete the process is very less
compared to the manual system, there is no unnecessary usage of resource in the proposed system. The
other importance of the proposed system is enabling the institute to be up to date by using
opportunities of Information and Communication Technology rather than sticking to the old system.

In general the proposed system benefits everyone who are related to the department placement
process one way or another.
