Research Design

This study employs quantitative research, for the fact that a quantitative

research is the process of gathering and interpreting numerical data, it used to

discover patterns and averages, to make predictions, to verify causal linkages, and to

generalize results to larger groups (Pritha Bhandari, 2020).

This aims to know the effects of peer support in Grade 12 students on their

health; the study's design is non-experimental research, particularly correlational

research, which is also used to establish the measurement's reliability and validity.

The primary purpose of this study is to contrast two variables, namely the effects of peer

support and mental health, and then to establish the relationship between these two

variables in order to manage it Messerli, F. H. (2012).

Correlational research is a sort of research strategy that includes studying two

variables in order to demonstrate a statistically significant link between them (Pritha

Bhandari, 2021). It also identify whether this two variable have some variety of

connection.
