b. Research 2 examples (attach the pictures) for each type of stream
(braided & meandering   stream) then explain how these two types of
streams differ from one another. (10pts.)

Braided Stream

Meandering Stream
 Braided stream is a stream consisting of multiple small, a shallow
channel that divide and recombine numerous times forming a
pattern resembling the strands of a braid. Braided streams form
where the sediment load is so heavy that some of the sediments are
deposited as shifting islands or bars between the channel. The
meandering is a single channel or one lane where the water travels
and it is a snakelike form. The difference of the braided and
meandering stream is that the braided stream is relatively coarse
(bed loaded) in terms of the sediment size, it is relatively steep,
flashier, in a plan view it is multi-channel, it is also relatively wide
and shallow and more likely unstable bed and frequently flooding.
While, the meandering it is relatively fine (suspended load) in terms
of the sediment size, it is relatively shallow, steadier, it is denser,
also it has a single channel, it is relatively deep and narrow and also,
it is avulsions and infrequent flooding.

c. Give a general description of how winds form. (5pts.)

 The wind is a moving or motion of air where it is not visible in the
naked but it be felt and see it forces in the surroundings. The wind is
created or form through the uneven heating in the Earth’s surface or
when the suns heat one part of the atmosphere differently than
another part. The gases move from the higher-pressure areas to
lower pressure areas.
 D. SELF CHECK and SELF REFLECT
What do you think are the possible ways in water and soil
conservation? (5pts.)
 There are many possible ways for water and soil conservation but
first always keep in mind to not pollute the water and soil. The
possible ways to practice decomposition, cultivation, kaingin
farming, conservation tillage, contour farming, strip cropping, crop
rotation and many more. In which, these practices would benefit,
enrich and fertile the soil more effectively. For, the water
conservation checks for the leaks in the household, take water
shorter, turn off the faucet while brushing the teeth, do not leave the
faucet open, use the rinse water used in cleaning the rice to water
the plants or wash our face, and turn off all the water sources around
the household before going to bed to conserved water. And, there
are many other possible ways to conserved water and soil in a more
efficient way.
