EDUCATION OR WORK EXPERIENCE

Nowadays people are concerned about getting a better job. Some people are
convinced that having a good education first is essential, when others consider
that practicing is more decisive. I partly agree with both points of view.
Firstly, higher education allows students to understand thoroughly the core of
the future profession. It is extremely important for person to comprehend
properly what he does and what for he actually works.
It cannot be argued that person receives a wider range of knowledge, while
learning in a college. During seminars many common cases are viewed as well as
rare ones. It helps students to think critically and hence perform a job more
professionally.
Also, a number of universities and institutions have contracts with various
company, that can potentially employ graduates. Several students, especially
the most successful ones, may be offered a job in advance. Thus, students might
be provided by work even before graduating college.
Nevertheless, we can find a contrary opinion. Some people prefer practice over
education. It is true that getting a job right after finishing school, benefits
society faster – it is on average 4 years earlier than among the people with BA.
What is more, when person performs his work, he has a feeling of involvement
and being needed. Youngsters, who get this opportunity as soon as possible, are
more likely to be satisfied with their jobs.
Besides, it is one of the quickest ways to earn a living. Tuitions fees and student
loan can be greatly hard to cover. Therefore students, who are usually not
stable financially, have to pay off their debts for several years.
All in all, it up to person to decide whether education or practice will make him
more successful and happier.
