FAXS board and install the FAXS board (3

3. Touch “Soft Switch Settings.”
4. Touch “Mode Selection,” and then type in “006.”
5. Touch “Bit Selection,” and then use “←” and “→” to
move the cursor to bit 1.

6. Set bit 1 to “0,” and then touch “Enter.”

8. Touch “Exit” on the Tech. Rep. Mode screen to go
back to the initial screen.
9. Turn OFF and ON the Main Power Switch.

Note:
Korea Do not need to attach the label. When displayed the Tech. Rep. Mode screen, be
sure to turn off the main power switch after exiting
the Tech. Rep. Mode screen and wait for 10 sec-
onds or more before turning on.

V. Checking the transmission


1. Send a fax from PSTN2 to PSTN1.
2. Send a fax from PSTN1 to PSTN2 using on-hook
dialing.
