Purpose:
At Pasadena Humane they have pet adoptions and foster animals, they focus on programs and
services aimed at helping people care for and keep their pets, such as free and low-cost
spay/neuter and vaccines, a pet food bank, and an animal support call center
Part 2
I choose Pasadena Humane because they help support and protect animals. Their purpose
is to provide compassion and care for all animals. Pasadena Humane is beneficial to the
community because they focus on programs and services aimed at helping people care for and
keep their pets; they also help animals through adoptions, wildlife rehabilitation, lost & found,
veterinary services, and surrender prevention assistance. The role I would enjoy doing to help
this organization is give Daily enrichment to the shelter’s dog residents. In this role, I will
provide calming activities to help keep their stress levels low and minds active during their stay.
I believe it would be beneficial to help volunteer at Pasadena Humane because I enjoy caring and
engaging with animals. This opportunity would help me learn how to care and nurture animals,
this can teach me to learn more about animals and their behavior including animals I have of my
own.
