We all know that walking is the most basic, active, and inclusive in all modes. It is cost-saving
and time-saving for us and transport externality reduction, which also has a good effect on our
environment. Aside from that, it also increases personal mobility options, which has a good
effect on our health. It is supported equitable access for the most vulnerable transport users
like women, persons with disability, our younger generations, and the elderly.

However, pedestrians are continued to be the last priority of the public and private sectors.
Upon disregarding these Non-motorized transport users are also manifested with inadequate
provision for good quality pedestrian facilities like what we have taken in this particular area in
CSJDM, Bulacan.
