As I started to study this course, I was always putting in my mind that I need to be smart

and to listen really carefully because communication works when you listen carefully, when you

understand the context of the communication. Communication means connection and connection

makes relation. Look how important communication is. The communication process is the

processes taken in order to execute or successfully do the communication. Communication is

part of our daily life because it creates interaction and relation. It is really good to have a good

interaction and relation in our life because relation provides us with friends and family to share

our lives with and people who can help us out in tough times, and we can do all these things by

having a good communication.

Conveying information from one person to another is the main purpose or the main aim

of communication. In order to get information, communication takes place and comes along with

different barriers. Since communication is a two-way channel of giving and receiving

information. Every communication begins when the sender creates an idea then becomes a

message and is transmitted to the receiver. When the receiver receives the message by any

mediums like oral, e-mail, written, hand signs, etc. the receiver will create a feedback by using

different mediums also. But if there is a barrier, there will be miscommunication. It is important

to follow the communication principles because this is the best way to a successful

communication. Individuals are able to generate information in terms of ways that are required to

put the communication processes into operation in a worthwhile and efficacious manner using

communication principles.

Overall, an effective communication system must have confidence among all the factors

and ensure changes in their way, attitude and behavior. The communication must use an

appropriate language which is easy to understand by the receiver so that the receiver will have

proper feedback and your communication will be successful. An effective communication is

perceived to be effective when the receiver receives the message from the sender properly and

effectively so the receiver can have the same form and context as it sent by the sender.

The styles and conventions of academic paper must be prioritized and must be learned by

anyone. This topic made me realize that I have a lot of things to improve when it comes to

writing academically. I need to improve in my writing the usage of punctuation marks. This one

is one big matter that can affect the whole paper if you used or placed a wrong punctuation. I

learned that as a first time writer, it is ok to get wrong. The important thing is we have a space of

learning and improving on writing. We have the guides and we have the chance to improve

ourselves when it comes to writing.

In having a presentation, we need to have prior knowledge on how we can attract the

audience to our presentation. We should use the right style depending on what topic we are

tackling in the presentation. We need to have a great connection between the audience and the

speaker. Because connectivity is very important when we are having a presentation. If we have a

connection with the audience, we know that they are interested in your topic and proves that you

are an effective speaker.

Writing analysis shows why your writing is important. In creating an academic paper, we

need to prove that the evidence we are presenting or we are using is important or is very relevant

to the topic that you are doing. If you have relevant evidence, you can call your academic writing

effective because it provides and states the information that you need to show to your paper.

Technical paper shows that a product is worth buying and worth to purchase without reading the

technical documents. Just look at the contents, you can prove that the product is worth it and

effective to use in our daily lives.

Impromptu speech is when you ask to speak in public without further notice. This is

usually happening to me as a pre-service teacher. In having impromptu speech, we need to be

aware of the things and contents that we are going to tackle. We should introduce ourselves so

that the listeners can have an idea of what are you going to tackle. We can also see in the

introduction on how we can attract the audience in our speech. While the body needs to be

informative and interesting so that we can avoid the miscommunication between the speaker and

the audience. As a speaker, I need to improve my performance technique. We should have prior

knowledge on how we can engage towards our audience. We also need to remember the

formality of speaking and familiarity of the audience.

As we are in a blended learning, we can usually experience contemporary public

speaking. The speakers today are starting to learn by presenting through online and sometimes it

is a business. In contemporary public speaking, we should be the one who is responsible for our

decision, in our technical needs. If we have a problem of technical needs, there is a high

possibility that we can have a communication conflict towards the listeners. And also our visual

presentation matters. We need to use a presentation-friendly way so that we can have the best

interaction towards our audience and listeners.

In our workplace, communication is really vital, we need to have professional ideas and

professional strategies when having communication inside our workplace. Even though we are in

a modern world, we shouldn’t use our phones in our workplace to avoid destruction and avoid

miscommunications towards the documents, files, presentation, etc. that is being presented in the

workplace. We need to deliver our message accurately so that the receiver can receive it

perfectly. So that they can not misinterpret the information in your presentation. Being

professional is always a vital thing in our workplace. If we are professional, we have a high

possibility of getting a promotion in a short-time.

In our workplace, we are experiencing different conflicts with our co-workers, in the

place, and in the things we are doing. But we also need to remember the concept of

professionality and the concept of growth and development on how we can deal with those

conflicts inside our workplace. We have to manage our conflicts with deeper understanding on

what can be the result of our actions to our working environment. That is why we need to think

before we click. We have further analysis on the things that are happening to our environment to

have an influence of righteous actions.

Communication is really a vital responsibility that we need to learn and to provide a deeper

knowledge and prior understanding. Communication is everywhere, communication can also occur

in our workplace and work environment. As a great communicator to your work environment and

workplace, we need to understand what we are talking about, what we need to provide to our

listeners or audience to our workplace. We need to be more efficient and effective communicators in

our workplace because if we are not, we might have some misunderstandings and misconceptions

towards something we are tackling, especially to our workplace. Having great communication skills

in our workplace can establish a good relationship between one another, which is very vital when it

comes to a workplace. Establishing a good relationship with one another can give the highest

possibility of having good work outcomes and results. On the other hand, oral presentation is one of

the relevant things in our workplace. In choosing visual representation, we need to choose what is

attractive and what is relatable to our presentation. In oral presentation, you need to be concise and

organized so that the listeners or the audience can not have difficulties in understanding what you

are tackling about. To sum it all, communication and oral presentation are two of the most important

things we should improve in ourselves. We need to improve to establish trust, good relationships,

and to leave a good mark towards others. Because being marked as a good communicator is the

best way to describe that you are a good worker.

Overall, we can notice that communication is really powerful. Communication is

everything and communication is vital. We have to be aware of everything, we have to be

mindful, and we have to be intelligent. Having those characteristics in communication can result

in a good product that can benefit you as an individual and as a person in charge of improving

and developing the growth of your own. Always remember that, being a person of influence is

something that can give you the relativity of something vital and something neutral.
