 CHAPTER 1
INTRODUCTION

A. Thesis
Free time is hours of subjects in schools that are free because the subject
teacher is not present or enters class for certain reasons. Habits are often done
by students during "Free Time".
1) Play Gadgets/Cell Phones
Bringing gadgets/cell phones in class is not wrong. However, in lessons,
students are not allowed to open cell phones other than to look for
information in learning activities.
2) Slee
Sleeping in class during Jamkos will have a negative impact because it
makes their brains passive and if left continuously, they will get used to
the situation.
3) Gather
Gathering outside the classroom and making a fuss then it will disturb
other classes who are doing Teaching and Learning Activities.
4) Play
Many students use the Jamkos time to joke with their friends as a
refresher, such as playing basketball, futsal, panco, and others.
“Free Time” can have a positive impact if used properly, such as:
a. Go to the library with friends
b. Reading Mapel's book "Free Time"
c. Trying to understand the lesson yourself
d. Ask the teacher who is unable to attend and do it

Discussion
So it can be concluded that "Free Time" can have a negative impact even
though sometimes teachers think "Free Time" is a normal thing, so teachers don't
go in to teach and don't give assignments even though they don't have other
interests.

Reiteration
Don't make "Free Time" an opportunity for you to have fun, but make it an
opportunity for you to be independent in terms of studying on your own.
And for the teachers, please remember that every second in the Teaching
and Learning Activities is very important for the students, therefore if there are
teachers who are unable to attend, it is better if there are other teachers who take
their place to teach.
