INVITATION TO BID UNDER OPEN DOMESTIC BIDDING

Invitation to bid for assorted supplies and services

1. The Government of Uganda represented by Ministry of Health – Uganda Blood
Transfusion Services [UBTS] has allocated funds to be used for the acquisition of
Assortments of Supplies and Services.
2. The Uganda Blood Transfusion Services [UBTS] now invites your sealed bids for the
provision of Assortments of Services,
3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Open Domestic Bidding procedures
contained in the Government of Uganda’s Public Procurement and Disposal of Public
Assets Act, 2003.
4. This Letter of invitation has been addressed to all eligible bidders.
5. You may obtain further information from Uganda Blood Transfusion Services [UBTS]
and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at 8(a) from Monday 18th
July, 2022 from 08:00 to 13:00 and 14:00 – 16:30 Hours.
A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by you on the
submission of a written application to the address below at 8(b) and upon payment of a
non-refundable fee of Uganda Shillings One hundred Thousand (UGX. 100,000) for
each lot. Bidders are advised to collect Bank Payment Registration Slips and make
payment to the Bank as a Non Tax Payment.
6. The document will be picked by the bidder’s authorised representative. No liability will be
accepted for loss or late delivery.
7. Bids must be delivered to the address below at 8(c) at or before Wednesday 10th August,
2022 at 11:00 hours. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the
bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 8(d) on Wednesday
10th August, 2022 at 11:30 am.

and Disposal Unit Office
b. Address documents will be issued from: Procurement and Disposal Unit Office
c. Address Bids must be delivered to: Procurement and Disposal Unit office
 d. Address of Bid Opening: UBTS Boardroom.
9. Please inform us, upon receipt:

a. that you received the letter of invitation; and

b. Whether you will submit a proposal alone or in association.
