D. How much is the total profit if 65 bread roll are sold?
E. How much is the total cost if 150 bread roll were sold?
F. How many bread roll must be made and must be sold to make
even?

a. What is the cost function?

V= 13, P= 35, F= 793

M(x) = Vx + F
M(x) = 13x + 793

b. What is the revenue function?

R(x) = Px
R(x) = 35x

c. What is the profit function?

P(x) = R(x) + M(x)
P(x) = 35x + (13x + 793)
= 35x + 13x + 793
P(x) = 13x + 793

d. How much is the total profit if 60 bread roll are sold?

P(x) = 13x – 793
P(60) = 13(62) – 793
= 806 – 793
P(60) = 13

There is a loss of Php 13 in selling 62 bread roll How much is the total
cost if 150 bread roll were sold?
M(x) = 13x + 793
M(150) = 13(150) + 793
= 1950 + 793
M(150) = 2,743

The total cost is Php 2,743 if 150 bread roll were sold

e. How many bread roll must be made and must be sold to make even?
P(x) = 0
0 = 13x + 793
793 = 13x
13 13

X = 61 bread roll must be sold break even

minutes used.
B. How much is the monthly cost incurred if the owner used 180 minutes
of call?
C. How much is the monthly cost of the plan if the owner used 300
minutes of call?

a. Find the monthly cost function C(x) where x represents the number of
minutes used.
C(x) = 1,200 if x ≤ 180
= 1,200 + 7 (x – 180) if x > 180

b. How much is the monthly cost incurred if the owner used 180 minutes
of call?
Php 1,200

c. How much is the monthly cost of the plan if the owner used 300
minutes of call?
C(x) = 1,200 + 7 (300 – 180)
= 1,200 + 7 (120)
= 1,200 + 840
