The next step for your Final Role Play is to prepare your Sales Deck and practice your Persuasive Presentation. You will work on this assignment with your Final Role Play partner.
Step 1 – Prepare a Sales Deck
1. Prepare 10 slides max 2. The presentation should be in PowerPoint 3. Use your design skills to prepare a professional looking sales deck 4. If you are working with a partner, both of you must work on this project equally and be familiar with the content. 5. Use all the elements of the presentation mix in your slides/presentation delivery:

7. Slide 1: Your Assigned Product logo/Your Prospect (from your Call Planner)/Quote or tagline for your Product. 8. Slide 2: Your Company/Product information/Years in business/current customers/where it is currently being sold/social media presence/mission statement 9. Slide 3: Feature/Advantage/Benefit. Remember you don’t list them this way...FAB is a term we use in sales; we don’t say it to customers. Add visuals here. 10. Slide 4: Feature/Advantage/Benefit. 11. Slide 5: Feature/Advantage/Benefit. 12. Slide 6: Why should your prospect buy from you. Reasons why your company and product is different than your competitors. What is your USP? 13. Slide 7: Marketing Plan – Demonstrate how you will help the buyer sell and promote the product in their stores (from your Call Planner) 14. Slide 8: Business Proposition – Insert your pricing that you completed including any trade promotions (from your Call Planner) 15. Add two additional slides with anything else you want to add or cover in your presentation. Be creative. 16. Remember these slides are customer-facing – do NOT include your student numbers or a reference slide.
Step 2 - Persuasive Presentation Video Assignment
1. Now that you have created your 10-slide sales deck you must practice presenting it to your customer. 2. Record a video presentation with the slide deck visible throughout. Recommendation is to record in ZOOM and share the screen, so your slides are showing. Both partners must have their cameras on and be visible for the presentation. 3. Each partner should take an equal part in the video presentation. 4. Use this opportunity to showcase your presentation skills. 5. Go through the Presentation Mix above and include the following: a. You should include one simile, story, metaphor, or analogy for your product while discussing one of your FABs. b. You should make the presentation fun and appeal to all five senses if possible. c. Demonstrate 1 trial close minimum. d. Incorporate one persuasion through suggestion technique as outlined in Chapter 9. 6. The Video should be max 5 minutes in duration. Video range should be 4-5 minutes. Rehearse before you record the video, so you don’t go over the allotted time.

Persuasive Presentation – Organization Video submission is submitted on time, link given to Needs Work Good Very Good instructor was able to be viewed, both role-play partners 0-1 2-3 4-5 were visible in the video, screen was shared. Persuasive Presentation – Content Needs Work Good Very Good Video submission showed the persuasive presentation 0-9 10-16 17-20 using elements of the presentation mix above, including one simile, story, metaphor, or analogy for your product while discussing one of your FABs. The presentation was fun and appealed to all five senses where possible. 1 trial close was demonstrated. One persuasion tactic through suggestion technique was used. Persuasive Presentation – Timing Video submission was max 5 minutes in duration.
