3. Arrange the tank pad as shown and mark with

SUPPLIES REQUIRED masking tape.

Isopropyl alcohol
Shop towel

INSTALLATION TANK PAD

NOTE:
•• Heat the bonding surfaces with a hair dryer if the
ambient air temperature is below 70°F (21°C).
•• The adhesive reaches full strength in 72 hours. Wait
at least 24 hours before riding your motorcycle.

1. Clean the surface of the area shown using an

isopropyl alcohol. MASKING TAPE

Avoid R part of
the fuel tank.

Match the center

of the fuel tank.

4. Peel off the adhesive backing on the tank pad as
shown.

Peel back leaving a
little adhered.

5. Attach the tank pad as shown.

Attach matching
the masking tape.

6. Remove the adhesive backing as shown.

Pull out while pressing
on the tank pad.

7. Remove the remaining adhesive backing.

8. Remove the masking tape and apply adequate
pressure to the attached tank pad.
