Activity 3: The sentences in this paragraph is in present tense. Change them to the past tense. (10

Martha pointed to the tree and Louie looked up there. He saw Martha`s cat high up in the tree. It can`t
get down and its looking unhappy as Martha was. Louie went over the garden wall and climbed up the
tree and carried the cat down safely. Martha is so pleased to get her cat again that she puts her arm
around Louie`s waist and gaves him a hug. This pleased Louie very much. This is certainly what he likes.
He wanted the cat to climb up the tree every day. So that night, he waited until it is dark, and then he
climbs the tree. He carried a hammer and nails and a fish in his hand.He knows the cats like fish, so he
nailed the fish to the tree. If the cat went up the tree the next day, he hopes to got another hug.
