DECISION – MAKING: A Reflection

Ken Levine once said, "We all make choices, but in the end, our choices make us."
Every now and then, we make decisions in life. Whether for short term or long term, it will always have
a great impact on us because the decision we make today will be our history and will put us into somewhere.
Today’s decision/s will define our present and future. For me, decision – making is always one of the most
crucial parts/steps of an individual and even in an organization. Implementing the decision you come up with
will always be the last step to know whether you will gain or loss something. However, these depend on how
well the decision-making process is done. In decision – making, one requires to be very careful in listing the
possible options and in narrowing down the best solution. A person should weigh all the options and much
better if he or she would list the possible outcomes of each options. Furthermore, deciding for yourself is
different from deciding for the team or group. You must always consider its effect to the group and so, in group
decision – making, everybody should participate in coming up with the best of the best solutions.

Indeed, every decision that we made has made it us into who we are today.
