-> Krampus' Fate | Part 1 <-

[Note: This is just a creative interpretation of his story, although I will be connecting it to the universe of
book 1 with the four beasts. I'm not going to follow Krampus' actual story/information in real life as well.
Will be using information off of the mimic wiki! Inspired off of my friend who said Krampus was probably
a good dude before he turned evil.]
NOTE: THIS IS BEFORE THE 4 BEASTS WERE SEALED, WHEN THEY WERE RAMPAGING ALL OVER THE
EARTH
Keith was the brother of Nicolas. We all know Nicolas became Santa Claus, doing good deeds and
making children happy around the world. Keith was proud of his brother! But after seeing all the praise
Nicolas was getting, jealousy began to tempt Keith.
Jealousy, the beast with the horned red mask, began to appear around Keith. First in his dreams, then in
a mirror, then in front of him. Jealousy whispered to him, "You are better. Show them all." Keith was
scared, but agreed with the masked lady. Jealousy sowed seeds of pride and ego into Keith, occasionally
whispering to him here and there. Keith shouldn't have accepted Jealousy's words, because it would
open the door for the other beasts to enter his life.
The next beast, Control, a tall woman in a black dress and a black hat, trapped Keith in a cabin. It was
Nicolas' and Keith's childhood home. Control told Keith he could have everything he wanted if he killed
Nicolas. Keith, unable to stab his own brother, stabbed himself. Nicolas running up to Keith, but it was
already too late.
Rebirth, a graceful lady in a white dress with an umbrella masking the rain above her and Keith, looked
at him in the eyes. Keith was dead, he failed Control's game. She lent him her hand, and another life was
granted to Keith, under one condition. Because of his failure to accept his brother, she would curse him
to be reborn but trapped forever in his childhood home.

Keith, alive again, decided to rework the dusty cabin. He made a feast for himself, but he was never
hungry. He tried to play in the snow, but was never happy. There was nothing left to enjoy, but the
punishment he had to eternally endure.
Keith began to go mad.
Rage, a contorted figure, crawling on all fours, circled around the cabin. Her muttering and mumbling of
words only made Keith angrier. Keith began to contort himself, his skin deforming, his face changing,
and horns spiking out of his skull. He even grew taller, no... the cabin itself became taller too.
On a fateful christmas day, an elf visited the place to drop off a gift. Nicolas didn't do it himself, he had
many other locations to be, and he didn't know the cabin had someone living in it anyways. Nicolas and
Keith had a tradition to drop off gifts at their childhood home, and scatter toys around the house so
maybe one day they could reminisce.
The elf got captured by the deformed Keith. Keith, feeling no other emotion, began toying with the elf,
soon torturing them, then killing them. He found a strange joy in killing another, how he could rid of
their happiness because his own happiness was taken. Rage laughed and began to crawl away into a
cave to escape the cursed place. Keith had a new objective now, to finally kill Nicolas and get everything
he desired.
Many more Christmas' passed, and more and more elves would go missing. Keith wandered into the
bathroom of his house and shrieked at his own reflection. That wasn't Keith anymore...
He stared at the mirror in disbelief, but knew it was his fate now. He gave himself the name "Krampus",
a creature made by the four beasts, to torment those enjoying Christmas for many years to come.
Although being trapped in that cabin meant he was already sealed, but until he caught Nicolas, that's
when travellers (players, us!) dare to enter and save Christmas.
