ABSTRACT

The phrase "deepfake" is derived from the underlying artificial intelligence (AI) technology
known as "deep learning." To create fake media that looks realistic, deep learning algorithms
are used to swap faces in videos and digital content. It is well known that deep fakes video is
use for many malice purposes. It is not only for duplicating the original video but it is also can
be used for scamming. That is why many countries have forbidden the practice of deep
fakes video to enhance the internet security for the public use. However, the open-source
criteria of deep fakes video make it spread and used by most of people for spreading lies
and rumours especially about celebrities. In addition, deepfake video also can cause lots of
damage towards many people. Such as their images as a celebrity or as a role model. That
is why research about deepfake video must be studied worldwide whether it can bring more
benefit or disadvantages towards human being.
