MRI PERIANAL REGION FOR PERIANAL FISUTLA

Multi-planar, multi-sequential, pre & post contrast, MR study of perianal region for
perianal fistula.

No abnormal MR signals in peri-anal region are observed suggestive of any fistulous tract in the
peri-anal region. Sphincter complex is seen unremarkable with no abnormal MR signal. There is
no evidence of intersphincteric plane inflammation or abscess formation. Bilateral ischio-rectal
and ischio-anal fossae are unremarkable with normal fat signal. Bilateral levator ani muscles
remain unremarkable with no abnormal MR signal. The visualized pelvic viscera appear normal.
Signal voids of pelvic vessels appear normal.

IMPRESSION:
Essentially unremarkable pre & post contrast MR study of perianal region with no
MR evidence of perianal fistula or abscess.
