SPEAKING:

L: Hello Abril, have you heard about the new teacher?

A: Hi Lorena. Yes, Paula has told me that he wants us to lend him a hand and
decide how we want the classes to be done.

L: And which method do you prefer? To my mind, the best method is group
projects since we can help each other.

A: I can see your point. However, from my point of view it’s better to use a
traditional method such as frontal lessons.

L: I disagree. Even though this classes might be more efficent, the students
learn more if they explain the units to their classmates.

A: Well, they might understand better the lessons. Nevertheless, they learn
fewer things since they have to learn slower.

L: Maybe, they learn less things, but they can improve their creativity.

A: You’re right, it can help to improve other things. So, we could ask the
teacher to do a mix of both methods.

L: That’s a great idea, this way we can learn better.
