    The good, The bad and the Harmless


    Insects that are labeled as invasive or pest are non-native species.
    These species usually have a negative impact economically, socially,
    and ecologically.
    Invasive species are a global persistent, causing an increase in
    agriculture, forestry, aquatic, and environmental issues (Graham et al.
    2018)
    To combat these issues, we have variety of methods.
     Insecticides
     Double barrel Vacuums
     Biological
     Monitoring / trapping
     All these methods are steps taken to protect our agricultural
    industry.
    Pest
     Asian citrus Psyllid
     Lygus bug
     Two spotted spider mites
     White fly’s
     These are all insects that harm either citrus trees or strawberry
    plants.
    Beneficials
     Minute pirate bugs
     Bigeyed bugs
     Predator mites (californicus)
     Damsel bugs
