1. What is your concept on the nature of the following?

a. Community and a typical Filipino Community
b. Rural Development, Urban Development and Community Development

2. The interplay of social institution (School, Church, Family and Business) is vital for
community to prosper. Aside from their conventional roles/functions as agents of
change, what do you thing are some their emerging roles/functions in response to the
many, varied and critical demands of global society especially at this time of pandemic?
Discuss each of the social institution.

3. In Community Development, elaborate it’s:

a. Perspective
b. Philosophy and Principles
c. Ultimate Aims
d. Appropriate Strategy

4. Characterize the qualities/attributes of an effective community builder/worker.

5. Assuming that you were designated as a leader/ administrator in the community. Being
such, the initial phase is to determine the needs of the community to be addressed
immediately. With so many problems discovered, identify one (1) priority problem that
should be given preferential attention by you. On this note, make an action plan of your
identified problems.
