Discussion: How might Carl and Frank resolve their differences?

Carl and Elaine should understand that Carl’s Health is the priority, and the
company will be of no use to them if Carl dies. Humility on Carl’s end would be a
great benefit for him, forgiveness and acceptance comes next. They will do this not
for Frank but for Carl.

Open Communication and Listening - Though it is difficult, Elaine is right. They

should bury their pride and reach out to Frank’s Family. The approach should not be
hostile and full of emotions but with logic and the right reasoning. Involvement of
Wives during the communication process to moderate and intervene.
Forgiveness - Carl might think that asking for forgiveness is only for Franks, It is
more about him. He can forgive himself for his actions and ask for forgiveness from
Fank. There is always an honor in humility. He cannot risk heightened emotions from
stress
Be Objective - Clarify the things that need to be addressed. Have a common end
goal and agree to terms and not break in along the way
Consult third-party professionals - They can be of help in the division of the
company and intervene during communication. (Lawyers, Industry Experts,
Relationship experts etc.)
