Windsor High School Spring Semester 2023

Colorado

To Whom It May Concern:

I, Kristin Fralick, am writing this on behalf of Mollie Metts. I recently met Mollie as a student
teacher for Jessica Teal’s FCS (Family Consumer Science) classes that “my students” are also
in. I am a paraprofessional with the SPED- (SPecial EDucation) department at Windsor High
School. In my job capacity, I aid and assist students who have need(s) for my support role.

In working with a variety of students with diverse and unique abilities, tailored IEP’s, and the
many other tasks required as an educator, it takes time, energy and creativity to say the least! I
have been able to recently observe Mollie Metts as a “teacher in the room” and other varying
capacities. I have, in the short time I’ve known Mollie, seen her confidence increase in her class
presentations as well as her willingness to accommodate to the best “we” (as a team) can, to
skillfully and creatively ensure the students' education is adapted appropriately and adequately.

Some of the ways Mollie has adapted the lessons for “my students” is by printing out lesson
plans and notes, sometimes enlarging them if needed. Mollie and I collaborate on ideas to
implement when making modifications and sharing new task and project ideas as well. Another
student support, that Mollie does, is allowing extra time for the students who need more time to
accomplish an assignment. Social experiences are important, and Mollie always makes sure
EVERYONE is included.

During my acquaintance with Mollie, she has shown herself to be efficient and professional; she
shows leadership and dedication; she has a broad range of skills and is eager to share her
passion of knowledge with her students.

As expressed, Mollie is an extremely talented and supportive educator. Her patience and
respectfulness when dealing with adversity is one of her many strengths. She would be a great
asset to any team.
