Chapter 2 Introduction of device software

2 Installation of Basic Software

CSM-300E series devices have been installed with basic system and
Ethernet card before leaving the factory. Programs and related documents
can be downloaded through FTP.
CSM-300E programs and files are stored as per directory tree. / csm300e /
csm300ecomn holds common parts of 300E software. / csm300e / csm300ea
holds 300EA gateway software. / csm300e / csm300eb holds 300EB access
software. / csm300e / csm300ef holds 300EF access software.
The bin directory of csm300ecomn, csm300ea, csm300eb and csm300ef
holds all of executable files; config directory holds all of configuration files;
both directories are compulsory for running. Other directories are used during
development and debugging, wherein include holds all of common header
files, lib holds all of application library files, and src holds source files of all
kinds of protocol applications as per the subdirectory distribution.
Modification of start-up files: After downloading the program, firstly run mkrun
process in csm300e directory, which will delete unnecessary application
directories according to the hardware configuration and in the meantime
generate script file r300e. The batch file that must be included in r300e script
file is runcomn (kernel process); and other protocol applications will be
automatically added to r300e file according to hardware configuration (the
application may include runrtu (gateway protocol process), runmasterb and
runmasterf (access protocol process)).
In order to automatically run 300E application after rebooting device, it is
necessary to put the application command in the batch file run in the root
directory sysrun. If the software is running on a new device, running mkrun
will automatically modify run, and the contents are shown below. Otherwise,
please modify run file manualiy.

cd / csm300e
. / r300e
Notes: 1. Please do not modify sysinit.1 files.
2. runkey (key management process) and Icdtest (liquid cystal test
process) are started in default in case of batching processing run.
During field operation, please modify the contents of run file
according to the actual situation.
Acquisition of key: The running of CSM-300E software needs to check the key.
When running on CSM320E series devices, the program will automatically
check the key under the path / 300etmp;there is no need for users to generate
the key.

4 Use of CSM-300EA gateway Software

Configuration: CSM-300EA gateway protocol process reads CSC2000
protocol messages uploaded by the device from real-time database and Ion
process, and sends remote control, remote adjustmnt, setting operation and
other commands through Ionctrl process.
The configuration files of CSM-300EA are saved in the directory csm300e /
csm300ea / config, summarized as follows.
comnx.sys: Channel configuration file, x refers to channel number.
channelx.sys: Protocol configuration file
lockx.sys: Debugging, remote signal blocking configuration files.
yxlockykx.sys: Remote signal blocking, remote control configuration files.
soemanager.sys: SOE synchronization management configuration file. zfycx.
dat, zfyxx. dat, zfykx. dat, zfsoex. dat, zfhbx.dat, zfymx. dat, zfytx. dat:
Measurement and control point setting configuration files (optional according
to dispatching requirements).

Important note: Configuration files are correlated with each other through channel number
(x) and correspond to the channels in ser.cfg.
CSM-300EA software provides multiple channels communicate with multiple dispatching via
different protocols. Each channel corresponds to one dispatching. By configuration, we can set the
type of protocol to be used, the type of medium for communication, the operation mode of
communication medium, the type of data to be uploaded, etc.

Refer to software manual for gateway process running method, boot

parameters and detailed description of every configuration file.

5 Use of CSM-300EB Access Software

Configuration: The configuration files of CSM-300EB are saved in the
directory csm300e / csm300eb / config, summarized as follows:
jcomnx.sys: Channel configuration file, x refers to channel number.
jchannelx.sys: Specific configuration file for access protocol.
jrycx.dat, jryxx.dat, jrykx.dat, jrsoex.dat, jrhbx.dat, jrymx.dat: Access setting
configuration files. Every channel shall have these configuration files, or else
the process will deem that configuration files are incomplete and exit (No
configuration is generally required for the protection accessed by Ethernet).
Generally, the access of small protocol requires jrycx.dat, jryxx.dat and other
access setting configuration files. The access of protection devices requires
***.cfg (template configuration file) rather than setting configuration files.
Currently, the access needing template configuration files mainly includes
IEC60870-5-103 Protocol access, NARI RCS9793 managing computer
Ethernet access, NARI protection Ethernet access, XUJI protection Ethernet
access, Shenzhen NARI Ethernet access, Nanjing Automation Ethernet
access, etc.

Important notes: Configuration files are correlated with each other through channel number
(x) and correspond to the channels in ser.cfg.
CSM-300EB software provides multiple channels to communicate with multiple devices via different
protocols. Each channel corresponds to one or more devices. By configuration, we can set the type
of protocol to be used, the type of medium for communication, the operation mode of
communication medium, the type of data to be uploaded, etc

Refer to software manual for access process running method, boot parameters
and detailed description of every configuration file
