GMRC ACTIVITIES

The document describes four activities for students to reflect on themselves and the influences in their lives. The first activity involves drawing a picture of themselves and listing positive and negative characteristics by different body parts. The second has students complete sentences about insights into themselves. The third matches daily activities to core Filipino values. The fourth uses a body map to illustrate the extent family, school, peers and media influence the student and discusses which influences will be useful as a future teacher.

ACTIVITY 1

HUMAN FIGURE

On a whole page of bond paper, draw a human figure. You are that figure so make it look like
you, your hairstyle, your eyes, nose, shape of your face. Also, you may include the clothes you
love to wear, favorite accessories, shoes and pieces of jewelry so they would reflect the real
you.

Next, divide the paper into 2 by folding it at the center. On the left side of the paper make a list
of your characteristics both positive and negative by writing them on the part of your body
whose function relates to that characteristic.

For example, open-mindedness is written near the head, dancer near the feet and so on.
