Objective Statement:
To obtain a teaching position within Social Studies to develop further my abilities, confidence, and
journey as an educator in the state of Colorado. It is my goal and intention that, through the
teaching of Social Studies, students will gain a deeper knowledge and appreciation for history,
economics, and geography as subjects that seek to define and explain the world around them and
the developments that define it. Additionally, it is my hope that through this journey, I will be able
to grow and learn alongside my students.
