As the COVID-19 pandemic led to the temporary stop of many transportation modes like jeepneys, e-jeeps have become more popular than traditional jeepneys as they provide more space and are less likely to spread illnesses. However, jeepneys remain more affordable for most Filipinos. In the future, affordable transportation options may disappear as costs of living rise with adaptations to the new normal post-pandemic.

As COVID-19 happened, lots of mode of transportation temporary stopped just like
jeepneys. As we recover for the pandemic and adapting to the new normal, many e-jeeps are more popular today more than jeepneys as it is more spacious as it looks like a mini bus so that passengers are likely not to caught flus or covid along the trip. But still, jeepneys are way more affordable than today’s e-jeeps so majority of the Filipino’s are still in favor of riding jeepneys. In the future, I think that we maybe can’t find any affordable transportation as we are recently experiencing the rising of the costs of our living, along adapting to the new normal after the pandemic happened.
