SECTION: TM-601 SEATWORK Instruction: As the COVID-19 pandemic happened, there’s a massive gap in the transportation system that needs to be filled accordingly. Share your insights on the possible way/s for the jeepneys and even another mode of transportations to adapt to all these changes. What do you think will be the future of public transportation amidst the new normal or in the next years to come? Explain your answer in no more than five (5) sentences using a situational illustration.
When COVID-19 hit, a variety of transportation, especially jeepneys, unexpectedly stopped
operating. Since the new jeep was invented and called it e-jeeps are more spacious than jeepneys, making it less likely that passengers can get the flu or COVID during the journey, e- jeeps are becoming more and more popular as we recover from the pandemic and adjust to the new normal. Still, the majority of Filipinos prefer riding jeepneys since they are significantly less expensive than the modern e-jeeps. Considering the recent rise in living expenses and the need for adjustment to the new normal following the pandemic, I believe that we may not be able to find cheap transportation in the future.
