Trade in Brunei

● Brunei is a muslim populated country with the majority being muslims,

the rest has 13% christian population and some other minor religions.
● This country has a small population and a small amount of land but the
dependence for “decent” clothing persists especially amongst women.
● We in India have readily available technology, land and skilled labour for
production of clothes. Utilising these resources and manufacturing
clothing that fits the standard of the public in Brunei might be a take.
● The clothing we make will be as per standards of the nation which is
covering arms and legs. But our USP could be making functional clothing
while following the social norms.
● Physical Activities like swimming or exercising are hard to perform in
these types of clothing so making functional clothes will set us apart.
● Here we see that no social,political,economic,technological barriers exist
due to the nature and motive of the trade.
