I. OBJECTIVES At the end of the lesson, the learners are expected to:
1. identify the common elements of a narrative;
2. evaluate sample critiques about works of fiction; and
3. write an in-depth evaluation of a story in the form of a critique.
A. Content Standards The learner demonstrates understanding of how world Literature and
other text types serve as instruments to resolve social conflicts, also how
to use the language of research, campaigns and advocacies.
B. Performance Standards The learner confidently presents a research report on a relevant socio-
cultural issue.
