My Dream School

My dream school is a place that fosters

creativity, exploration, and innovation. It
is a warm and welcoming environment
where students can learn, grow, and
develop their passions. It is a two story
building that contains different kinds of
facilities, amenities and also many
extracurricular activities the children can
learn or volunteer for. The school
doesn’t have pre-primary nor does it have IBDP or A Levels which helps to focus better on
the main building years of a child and focus on each child equally from every grade. Children
from grades 1 to 10 can enrol in the school which includes primary, middle school and high
school.
On the first floor the school has five classrooms, the
main foyer, the admins office, and a multipurpose hall
which can be used for conferences, assemblies and also
basketball or badminton. The second floor also has five
classrooms, the library, and a lounge for teachers, an
ICT lab, an art room for creative assignments, the
science labs and my personal favourite two squash
courts just for fun or any competition and mainly to
learn squash. The first floor also has an open cafeteria
where the students can enjoy amazing and fresh meals
and also a water fountain to hang around or take a
breather from studying. The entire building is filled
with plants and greenery which is watered every day and an atmosphere around nature also
helps the students to have an improved attention span and be able to focus and study. There
also is a ground outside the school building on the side where the students can enjoy fun
games of cricket, football, and any other outdoor games.
An electric circuit is a closed loop that allows
electricity to flow through it by using conductive
materials. It consists of electrical components such as
resistors, capacitors, transistors, and other components
that are connected to each other in a specific way so
that electricity can flow through them. The flow of
electrons in a circuit through the conductive materials
is the electric current and it is measured in ammeters,
the resistor would slow down the current and fewer
the components in a circuit faster the electric current.
There are two types of circuits a Series circuit and a parallel circuit both give similar outputs
but are very different. A series circuit is an electrical circuit in which the components are
arranged in a line, one after the other, with the same current flowing through each
component. The current in a series circuit is the same throughout the circuit.
A parallel circuit is an electrical circuit in which
the components are arranged side by side. The
voltage across each component is the same, but the
current through each component can be different.
In a parallel circuit the total current is the sum of
the currents through each component. The main
difference between series and parallel circuits is
that in a series circuit, the current is the same
through all components, while in a parallel circuit,
the current is shared among the components.
The electrical circuits of the school are both parallel and series circuits, some of the
classrooms use series circuit and some of the rooms use parallel circuits. I made some of
them series circuits as I wanted there to be only one switch for all the lights which makes it
easier and I used parallel in some in case if you want only half of the lights on so you can
switch it on individually. In the electrical circuits of the entire school I used different
components such as lights, wires, switches and of course batteries and a cell. The wires are
made using copper as it is the more efficient than any other conductor due to its higher
electrical conductivity.
