Dear Mr. Gator:

I have recently tried some of your company’s products. I am writing to you regarding

your company’s claim that their drinks hydrate people better than water. This does not

seem to be the case, based on my experience. While Gatorade supports energy and

hydration, it can be overly sweet for some people, unlike water. I do think your product

has benefits. I have a solution I would like to recommend. I believe your company would

benefit from creating a Gatorade water drink with extra vitamins, minerals, and

electrolytes. This would greatly help athletes who like the benefits of long-term

hydration, but without the extra sweetness.

I do know that Gatorade offers other low sugar products, however they seem to still have

a strong sweetness to them, along with artificial colors. A solution could be making a

new product called G-Water which has all the same ingredients as normal Gatorade, just

no sugar or coloring and less flavor. I think that G-Water would be a great product

because it will not make people sick and would provide vitamins, water, and electrolytes

which will help with hydration and energy.

I believe my recommendations and ideas could open a new market for your company and

increase sales. By reducing the sweetness and color, which many associate with

unhealthiness, you would be able to get more people to try your products. Flavored

waters have become very popular recently, such as Hint water, and yours would have the

added benefits of vitamins, minerals, and electrolytes, making it a great choice. I hope

you take some of my ideas for G-Water into consideration. I would gladly meet with you

to discuss this further.

Sincerely,

Ben Wildermuth
