    “48 hours and no sleep” (introduction 2)

    My grandma drove us to the airport in Mexico City and told us what a beautiful summer

    we had passed with her. She bade us to greet my father in Madrid whenever we arrived there.

    Eventually, we arrived at the airport and waved and kissed her goodbye. We got our luggage

    checked there, and we strolled around the airport just to pass the time. When it was time to board

    the plane, my sisters wrangled about the great window seat, but by the time the plane had taken

    off, everyone was in their seats, looking out the window peacefully and admiring the speed of the

    plane. Because we were all so excited, we nearly forgot to fasten our seat belts.
