EXECUTION STAGE- PROOF-READING:

As a general rule when writing, our draft is just the first step in the process. We then need to go over
what we wrote. For this reason, it is important to go back to our essay and read it looking for the
following aspects:

1. Have you written a total of four paragraphs?

2. Did you include at least one counterargument for each argument presented?
3. Did you show both reason and result by effectively using linking words?
4. Did you include some of the modals learned to express such things as regret, necessity,
obligation or prohibition?
5. Does your conclusion summarize the overall opinion you are expressing on the essay?
6. Have you exhibited adequate verb tense usage, spelling and punctuation?
