PRACTICUM RULES AND REGULATION

 Follow the rule of etiquette at all times

1. Be courteous to everyone at all times.
2. Remember that the guest is always right.
3. Be friendly with others without being over familiar.
4. Be careful not to disclose any confidential matters.
5. Be professional in all your way.
 Be knowledgeable of the house rules and regulations of the hotel.
 Remember that you are groomed to be future employees of the hotel.
1. Keep regular working hours.
2. Avoid tardiness by reporting 15 minutes before duty time.
3. The Department Head / Supervisor should be informed of absence of inability to report
for duty.
 Do not smoke, chew gums while on duty.
 Eating and picking up food in the area of work should not be done unless permission is
given for it.
 Wear the required uniform for OJT.
 Excessive facial make-up, loud color nail polished and too long finger nails should be
avoided.
 Loud behavior especially in the front office, restaurants and lobby is not becoming of the
trainee.
 Responsibilities given should be accepted and accomplished as part of one’s training and
experience.
 Keep out of employee problems and intrigues.
 Refrain from pilfering any hotel property (giveaways, souvenirs, food, etc.)
 Agreed, you will not be given 2nd chance once you violated the rules and policy listed
below;
1. Drinking alcoholic beverages.
2. Using personal gadget during working hours e.g. cellphone, camera, etc.
3. Going out without permission from your Department head / supervisor.
4. Tampering DTR.
5. Unauthorized absences.
6. Scandalous behavior.
7. Frequent tardiness & absences.
8. Theft.

rules and regulations and policy during my practicum/training. Any violation of the above &
none completion of the required number of hours will be invalidate my training & disqualify me
from the releasing of CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION.
