List of the Instructions and Formula Sheet for PH1000

The letters written in Bold font (e. g. B, E, D, P, r etc.) represent vector functions. The
   
letter/symbol expressed with Cap on it (e.g. x, ,  ,  etc.) represents a unit vector.

Student should choose his choice out of the given multiple choices for a given question. In addition,
should also upload the solution in the space provided for the same for each question.

Students are also not allowed to talk/communicate with any known/unknown person during the
examination other than the invigilator.

Some formulas for gradient, divergence, curl and Laplacian operator are given below for your
reference, however, students are advised to memorize and remember other formulas and concepts
as taught in the class. Students can use calculators but are not allowed to browse any internet
source/ books/notes etc. however, they are allowed to do rough work or write solution on a plane
Paper sheet.
