Competitors and Competitive Edge

The company has a strong brand and name in the whole country where we have
managed to beat them by grabbing a number of awards for example we were awarded
for having the best products and sales, best services offered, biggest customer base etc.
The company has passionate and skilled workers and leaders that work full time to offer
excellent services so as to meet our customers’ expectations.
The biggest concerns raised by most of our competitors is how to deal with online sales
and delivery to our customers due to unreliable expertise in that area. This has been an
issue affecting over 75% of this business that some of the most known companies opted
out of the online strategy and remained to the normal format.
Most of our competing companies also face a threat of lack of selling points which
greatly affects their clients from up countries from accessing their products thus
lowering sales. This is also a fact that they hardly opt for the online bit of the business.
Most of our competitors have issues with rent which makes them very mobile when rent
happens to accumulate. This also comes with higher issues like getting the local licenses
from the local leaders to where they have relocated whereas with us that’s not the case
because we have built most of our shops and have no rent or relocation issues meaning
that we are here for the customers.
Most of our competitors hire our installation and repair staff to serve some of their
customers and this comes at a very dear cost of repair in order to pay the staff hired and
to make some profit out of the service. On top of that they also purchase spare parts
from most of our shops.

At God bless electronic Appliances limited all the people working and willing to

and develop a working relationship with the current or future employees. This
depends on the type and kind of labour provided by this person.
Our labour force is divide into two main categories namely;
1. The skilled labour
This involves a group of learned people because most of the work they do has got to deal
with offering services to our customers. Some of these services include, repair,
installation, customer service, delivery, teaching etc. However, most of the employees
here prefer to be employed. Its only 10% of them that were willing to be offered sub-
contracts. We also happen to give so of the internship employees sub contracts for at
least a year as they look for where to work unless they impress and we decide to retain
them as employees.
2. Unskilled labour
This involves mostly the population of the local community and neighbouring towns.
They can be learned or unlearned. Most of these people are employed and they cover the
biggest percentage of the labour force at the shops around. Most of the work involves
counting, record taking, loading and offloading, cleaning etc.

The Supply chain

We normally get most of our products from Europe, America and in some parts of Asia.
These products are either directly brought to the airport or we require to go pick them from

ADMINISTRATION AND CONTROL

At God Bless Electronic Appliances most of our team has been allocated different sectors of
the company that helps us regulate the amount of production and services offered within the
company. This is done in a way that most of the goods brought in are cleared and accepted by
the local authorities and must be verified by the quality assurance and procurement
department before they are taken and kept in the stores.
New goods or products are normally not stocked or procured for if 45% of the first instalment
of a given product has not been sold to the market.
The security of the products comes both physically and financially. There is also data security
of our websites to avoid technical or online phishing.

Summary
THE INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITY

God Bless Electronic Appliances Limited is a business that deals in selling, installing and
repairing of electronics of all kinds. We have our electronics divided into two groups the
bulky i.e. refrigerators, washing machines, Wi-Fi routers, A.C etc. and small ones i.e. flat
irons, phones, laptops, bulbs, extension cables. We happen to import most of our products
from the top countries from America, Europe and Asia. These goods come along with their
spare parts just for in case we are to repair for a customer. For customers that purchase goods
(bulky) from us get an added advantage of installation and repair being at a discount.
Some of the advantages we have is that we have managed to surpass most of our competitors
due to the new strategy of online selling and the good quality of the products. We also face
reduced charges on transport since it is catered by our company. Despite all this, some of the
challenges we face include delayed clearing of our goods at the port (Mombasa) which makes
us lose some of our customers due to expired frame of time promised by us. The other is high
expenses paid in order to have these goods delivered to us by air which makes it less time
costly however financially costly. High expenses spent on repairing some of the machines
used to deliver or make our work easy for example, the trucks.
Our goal come in 2028, 5 years from now is to have a wide online base for sale and delivery
of our gods to our customers and to have more financial investors.
Hopefully, if we get the investment funds we hope to increase both our online and physical
market by a greater percentage. We shall increase our sales within the country across all
locations. We are also hoping to have branches outside the country and take it to the East
African level. This we are hoping to increase the total amount of sales and hoping to give
back 8% of the annual income generated to our top investor and 4% to our second top.
